The IndigiScapes Centre is an environmental education facility located in Brisbane’s bayside that attracts over 40,000 visitors each year.

Project Overview

Redlands City Council sought to expand the centre including refurbishing the existing IndigiScapes building and entryway, and adding a Discovery Centre, a new theatre and conference building, a new cafe and gift shop, and landscaping works.

Our Role

The RP Infrastructure (RPI) team provided Superintendent’s Representative services on the extension of the popular centre to Redland City Council, including construction oversight. The facility is situated in mature native bushland, and various stakeholders were actively interested in the environmental impact of the work. RPI collaborated closely with all key stakeholders to ensure that the project was delivered with respect and success.

The improved IndigiScapes officially reopened to the public on 21 February 2020, coinciding with its 20th anniversary.
