Anglicare PMO
Affordable Housing Developments
Featured projects
The Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF) is a 10-year plan to provide more social and affordable housing in NSW. Along with providing access to homes to those who need them most, the SAHF offers residents coordinated access to tailored support to improve the tenants’ circumstances.
Project Overview
As a result of the second SAHF tender, Anglicare, a registered community housing provider, created 550 homes across nine developments through a PPP style delivery model.
The residential buildings were being developed through an integrated housing model containing a mix of affordable rental units and strata residential housing units. Across NSW, approximately 1,100 integrated units will be delivered across all nine sites.
Anglicare has a long history in providing accommodation for the vulnerable and aging. Their primary focus is to create integrated developments that bring people together and strengthen the community.
Our Role
RP Infrastructure was engaged to establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) services for the nine developments, in addition to acting as Project Manager on two of the developments at Mount Druitt and Liverpool. PMO Services included overseeing the planning, procurement, construction and service readiness, ensuring that the portfolio was delivered within Anglicare’s governance requirements.
Key Challenge
The SAHF portfolio is a significant capital commitment for Anglicare, much greater than their typical annual output. Our PMO team developed and defined the portfolio delivery strategy within Anglicare’s requirements to ensure the risk associated with this portfolio is appropriately managed to protect their interests.
