Rosebud Primary School
New Learning Hub and Gymnasium
Featured projects
In 2020 the Victorian Minister for Education committed funding an increase in Rosebud Primary School’s capacity from 600 students to 800 students by 2022 to meet growing demand in the local area.
Project Overview
Rosebud Primary School has been using 10 relocatable classrooms to accommodate increasing enrolments. This project will provide new teaching and learning spaces for the school to accommodate up to 200 additional students, as well as provide permanent classrooms to replace six relocatables.
In addition, the funding for this project allows for the development of a new full-size gymnasium to support the school’s physical and outdoor education programs.
Our Role
RP Infrastructure (RPI) has been engaged to project manage the works from the beginning of Schematic Design through to the end of the Defects Liability Period.
RPI has provided procurement advice to the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) and programming options to assist in managing works to the Minister’s commitments.
RPI is also the Superintendent of the works.
Key Challenge
With funding announced for the project in mid-2020, the project timeframes for design and construction have been required to be compressed to meet the completion deadline of Term 1 2022.
