Creating a flexible hub for sport, creativity and community connection

At a glance

Browns Plains State High School is delivering a new $18.7 million multipurpose hall that will enhance opportunities for sport, performing arts and community use. The flexible facility will provide students with improved access to indoor sporting and creative activities and can also operate as a community health hub. RP Infrastructure is supporting the Queensland Department of Education through project management and Superintendent services.

The Challenge

The project requires coordinated delivery of a highly flexible facility capable of supporting different users, functions and operational requirements. The hall will accommodate indoor sport and performing arts while also providing the adaptability required for community health services, with quality, functionality and value maintained throughout delivery.

Our solution

RP Infrastructure is providing project management and Superintendent services, supporting the Queensland Department of Education with overseeing project delivery and contract administration.

Our team is continuing to work with the client, school and project partners to maintain focus on the facility’s intended outcomes and support the completion of a versatile, fit-for-purpose space for students and the broader Browns Plains community.

“This new multipurpose hall will make a lasting difference for students and the wider Browns Plains community. We are proud to be working alongside the Queensland Department of Education and the broader project team to deliver a genuinely flexible facility – one that brings sport, learning, the performing arts and community health services together under one roof.”
