RP Infrastructure bolsters team with new appointments

RP Infrastructure is pleased to welcome a number of new members to the team, including several senior appointments.

Joining in January, Chief Financial Officer Robbie Fagan has a strong background in finance and operational leadership across the property, professional services and travel industries. A qualified chartered accountant, Robbie’s strength in setting up scalable financial and functional processes is key to supporting RP Infrastructure’s significant growth trajectory.

Nigel Cartwright joined as a Principal in the Queensland office late last year to support the growth and development of RP Infrastructure’s water infrastructure business. Working in both Australia and the United Kingdom, Nigel has over 20 years’ experience in infrastructure development across the energy, resource, local government and consulting sectors. Nigel’s experience includes multiple roles at Yorkshire Water including leading their $235 million Bioresources Program, and working as their Transformation Lead and Hazard Resolution Manager; almost 5 years at Origin Energy in Queensland where his roles included Business Transformation Manager, Senior Risk Advisor, and Strategic Planning and Development Program Manager; and Principal Engineer for a consultancy that provided services to Australia Pacific LNG, BHP Billiton and the Queensland government.

Robin Walker has joined the NSW office as an Associate Director. With a background in design and project management, Robin has diverse experience in Australia and the United Kingdom working across a range of sectors including mixed-use, civic and community, residential, commercial, retail, rail and aviation. Robin’s recent projects include the $375 million Greenland Centre, the tallest residential building in Sydney; the $200 million Melbourne Walk redevelopment; and the $35 million Armstrong Creek Town Centre. Robin’s experience also includes the $440 million Tottenham Court Road Station upgrade in London and projects for Borough Market, Heathrow Airport and London Crossrail.

We welcomed Tariq Rasheed as a Principal focusing on NSW Roads, at the end of last year. With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, Tariq was a Senior Construction Manager for Transport for NSW’s Easing Sydney’s Congestion Program, overseeing a number of projects which had a combined value of approximately $200 million. In addition, Tariq worked on the $400 million M5 Motorway Southwest Widening Project in Southwest Sydney, the $150 million Great Western Highway Upgrade in the Blue Mountains, the $700 million Ipswich Motorway and a number of significant rail projects in Thailand valued in excess of $4 billion.

Dan Humphries joined as a Project Director in our NSW Health Team in January. Dan has significant experience working across major healthcare projects in London with a combined value in excess of $1.5 billion, including the new Moorfield’s Eye Hospital and research centre, the expansion of Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and many upgrade projects at the Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital campuses. His wide range of experience covers general hospitals, community hospitals and health centres, as well as many specialist areas of health. Dan is part of the RP Infrastructure team supporting Health Infrastructure NSW deliver the $260 million greenfield Eurobodalla Hospital on the NSW South Coast.

We also welcome the following team members who are working across our Victorian and NSW offices: Senior Project Managers Mark Kaiser, Yvonne Eng, Hasan Naji; Advisor Ananya Parthasarathy; Project Manager Liam Whitfield; Assistant Project Managers Bec Ryan; and Project Administrator Ahmad Hammad. Rounding out the team in Corporate Services are Elmira Kuanova, Amanda Mahony and Zac Jacques.
