Root Partnerships would like to congratulate David Breen on his recent promotion to Associate Director in the Sydney office.
With a background in construction and project management, David has worked across the full development lifecycle on projects which are often politically sensitive with significant stakeholder and operational complexity.
Currently leading the Anglicare Affordable Housing Program, David was previously the Program Manager for Health Infrastructure NSW’s $120+ million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration (RAIR) Program.
Root Partnerships CEO David Gundy says: “Since joining the team in 2016, David has delivered successful outcomes for clients such as The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and Create NSW in the civic and community space. His considerable project experience, ability to identify and circumnavigate project risks, and his skill in bringing together stakeholders to align priorities, have further seen him excel in leading social infrastructure programs for Anglicare and Health Infrastructure NSW.”
Prior to joining Root Partnerships, David delivered residential, office, mixed-use, industrial and civic developments in Australia and the UK.
David’s broad project management experience across a range of sectors has given him considerable knowledge of a variety of procurement routes. This, along with his commercial acumen, allows him to advise clients on optimal procurement strategies and undertake negotiations on their behalf, setting projects up for success.
David holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Construction Management from Nottingham Trent University and a Master of Science in Project Management from the Technological University Dublin. He is a Chartered Project Manager with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, UK.
