Stillwater Hope Island & Marina Residential Development
Featured projects
The waterfront development, marketed as Stillwater Hope Island, is adjacent to the Sanctuary Cove golf courses and The Hope Island Resort shopping centre on the Gold Coast. The Stillwater development is for permanent residents only and was designed and marketed as a lifestyle option for self-funded retirees.
Project Overview
The complex consists of six individual four-storey buildings comprising 110 luxury apartments including 12 x 4-bedroom, 34 x 3-bedroom, 44 x 2-bedroom with study, and 20 x 2-bedroom. Four of the buildings have roof terraces and two of the ground-floor apartments have plunge pools. The apartment blocks are built over two separate car parks that include accommodation for 202 cars, 48 buggies, and service rooms.
All the apartments have access to extensive landscaped areas, a large resort-style swimming pool, and an amenities building with a sauna, steam room, and gym area. The apartments are of high quality and include air conditioning, an electric oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, and clothes dryer. As with all residential areas in Hope Island, Stillwater has 24/7 security provided by Hope Island Security Service and is a gated complex.
Our Role
RP Infrastructure (RPI) was the Development Manager responsible for the planning, design, and construction of the luxury apartments, marina, pool and common areas for residents. RPI was responsible for due diligence and pre-purchase activities on the site. Our role involved managing the initial process of obtaining approval from the principal body corporate for the intended use, followed by securing development approval from the local authority for the proposed project. We then oversaw the entire project through to completion, including managing development feasibility, organising marketing and sales campaigns, overseeing design and construction, and facilitating the handover to owners. In addition, we continued to serve as the initial Body Corporate Chair for the development.
