Landcom’s East Lismore Build-to-Rent development will deliver 50 affordable, long-term rental homes across two buildings in the Northern Rivers. Located close to shops and local amenities, the development is designed for a flood-resilient setting and will broaden housing choice for the Lismore community.
RP Infrastructure is providing project management and Superintendent services from design development through construction completion, supporting Landcom to deliver a high-quality, durable and liveable outcome for future residents.
The Challenge
Delivering affordable housing in a regional market requires a careful balance between cost, quality, buildability and long-term asset performance. The project also involves complex site, services, approval and stakeholder interfaces, with resilience and liveability central to the brief. Maintaining delivery momentum while resolving these interfaces is critical to protecting programme, value and quality.
Our solution
RP Infrastructure is coordinating the project across design, procurement, approvals and construction, while administering the contract as Superintendent. Our team provides clear oversight of programme, cost, risk, quality and stakeholder interfaces, helping Landcom make timely, well-informed decisions as issues emerge. We are working closely with the contractor, consultants and authorities to resolve design and site constraints, manage change and maintain focus on long-term asset performance. In September 2026, both buildings topped out – a major milestone that moved the project closer to welcoming future residents.
