Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program
QLD

Supporting safer journeys on the Bruce Highway
RP Infrastructure has been successful on the Department of Transport and Main Roads’ Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program panel, supporting contract administration and verification services in the Mackay/Whitsunday Region in QLD.
The $9 billion program will improve safety on priority sections of the Bruce Highway north of Gympie. It will fast-track safety treatments across high-risk sections of the highway, including wide centre line treatments, road widening, audio tactile line marking, pavement strengthening, intersection improvements, overtaking lanes, widened narrow structures and rest areas.
Through the panel, our team will support the delivery of targeted safety upgrades that aim to reduce fatalities and serious injuries and improve journeys for communities and road users across Queensland.
Our solution
Our team is building a targeted, prequalified team to support the Department’s regional delivery needs. Our role will focus on providing contract administration and verification services that help packages move efficiently through delivery while maintaining appropriate governance and quality oversight.
By matching prequalified people to the program’s requirements, RP Infrastructure will support a flexible, scalable resourcing model for the Mackay/Whitsunday Region. This will help the Department to access the right capability as safety upgrades progress across the Bruce Highway.
