ALDI Automated DC Sydney
Development
Featured projects
The ALDI Sydney Automated Distribution Centre (SYD ADC) project will transform the company’s supply chain efficiency and its capacity to support current and future customers. By leveraging state-of-the-art technology, the new centre will drive supply chain efficiencies, supplying over 200 ALDI stores across NSW, with capacity to service future expansion. This major investment by a global brand is a milestone for Western Sydney.
Overview
The proposed ADC is designed for the safe storage and distribution of goods across multiple temperature zones, including ambient, chilled and freezer areas. Spanning approximately 90,000sqm on a 22-hectare site, and sitting 42 metres high, the highly automated facility features technology enabling approximately 80% of internal processes to operate unmanned. The site accommodates 400 parking spaces, supporting a peak workforce of approximately 350 people and can facilitate more than 1500 truck movements daily.
Our Role
RP Infrastructure (RPI) is providing project management services from site lease procurement to go-live, encompassing both the base build and automation packages.
