Creating a more spacious and connected traveller experience
At a glance
Launceston Airport is delivering the next phase of its terminal transformation to support continued growth and improve the traveller experience in Tasmania. The upgrade includes a new boarding gate, a 600 sqm expansion of the gate area and the complete renovation and modernisation of Gates 3 and 4, with more space, improved seating and clearer wayfinding.
The Challenge
Delivering the upgrade within an operating airport requires careful coordination to maintain traveller movements and day-to-day operations. The project must integrate new and refurbished spaces while improving circulation, wayfinding and the overall traveller experience.
Our solution
RP Infrastructure is providing project management, contract administration services and acting as Superintendent to support Launceston Airport and the broader project team through delivery. Our team is coordinating activities, monitoring progress and administering the works to maintain alignment with the project scope, program and quality requirements while the terminal remains operational.
“This upgrade is an important investment in Launceston Airport’s continued growth. Our focus is on supporting a coordinated delivery that improves the passenger experience while maintaining the operational needs of the terminal,”
