Inland Rail is a once-in-a-generation project connecting regional Australia to domestic and international markets.

Project Overview

The Inland Rail program will complete the ‘spine’ of the national freight network between Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. It’s the largest freight rail infrastructure project in Australia. Key focus areas for the program include reliability, pricing and transit times.

RP Infrastructure staff have been integral members of the broader Inland Rail program team, undertaking a wide range of roles within the team since its inception. We remain committed to the successful delivery of the project as it moves from project development into project delivery.

  • International benchmarking of steel rail
