RP Infrastructure (RPI) is pleased to welcome Margit Connellan to our team as Director, Water & Utilities.

Bringing over 30 years’ experience across the sector, Margit will be based in our Queensland office supporting clients nationally with their infrastructure projects.

RPI’s Executive Director of Utilities, Energy and Resources, Paul Tracey, noted that Margit’s deep experience across the water sector will bring significant value to our clients’ project planning.

“We’re thrilled Margit has joined the team,” said Paul. “Her significant expertise is a boon for RPI and our clients, as we continue to expand our capability across water and utilities projects nationally.”

A former Queensland Branch President of the Australian Water Association, Margit’s experience spans project development, commercial and transaction management, contract management, risk management and delivery strategy. Her project skill is underpinned by her background in civil engineering and strong stakeholder management ability.

Margit has worked across local government, construction, and consulting environments, successfully leading major programs, including wastewater treatment plant upgrades and advanced water recycling centres.

Margit’s leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across complex delivery frameworks adds significant strength to RPI and our commitment to ensure successful sustainable infrastructure outcomes for our clients.

“We look forward to leveraging Margit’s strategic insight, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership to achieve exceptional results for our clients who continue to advance the future of Australian water infrastructure,” said Paul.
