Key leadership appointments announced as RPI Executive Directors transition to strategic consulting roles

RP Infrastructure (RPI) has announced the appointments of David Hudson and Brett Thiele to key leadership positions as long-serving Executive Directors Scott Kennelly and Peter Driml retire from their full-time roles.

Queensland-based David Hudson has joined the company as the national Executive Director of Health, while experienced RPI Executive Director Brett Thiele takes on the Integrated Project Controls portfolio.

CEO Brett Magnussen thanked Scott and Peter for their commitment to the business over many years, noting that both will continue to work with RPI in a part-time capacity providing strategic consultancy on projects.

“I want to personally thank Scott and Peter for their tremendous contributions to our company and the significant impact they have made to our wider industry over many decades,” said Brett.

“Throughout their time with us they have provided exceptional service and leadership, leaving a proud legacy of outstanding projects. I’m pleased that our clients will continue to benefit from their expertise as they move into consulting roles with RPI.”

The transition of Scott and Peter’s portfolios has been underway for some time with Brett noting there would be no impact to RPI’s clients or projects.

David Hudson joined RPI earlier this year with over 25 years’ industry experience leading major projects and programs of work across the Health, Social, Commercial, Defence, Aviation and Transport sectors.

For over 20 years, including the last six with RPI, Brett Thiele has led teams in the delivery of complex infrastructure. He has demonstrated experience in improving outcomes for projects through Integrated Project Controls and Earned Value Management.

Brett noted, “I’m confident that the deep experience David Hudson and Brett Thiele bring to their portfolios, supported by our highly skilled specialist Directors and Associate Directors, ensures it will business as usual for our clients and their projects.”
